Borras Group Holdings Ltd opts for Evision Contract Management Software - JUNE 08

The Group comprises Borras Construction, established in 1980, a leading provider in the property refurbishment, repair, maintenance and new build markets across London, the northern Home Counties and South Midlands.
T&B (Contractors) Ltd was acquired in 2001 and operates as a separate business.. T&B were established in 1909 and have Special Works, Main Contracting and City refurbishment divisions in both private and public funded work within all the major market sectors covering New Build, including extensions; Alterations and Renovations; Refurbishment and Fit-outs; Design and Build; and Maintenance and Repairs
Borras Group selected EVision over competition from Exchequer, Easybuild as well as RedSky IT and their Summit 5000 product. Having had a reference visit to Tekton’s customer and ex-RedSky IT customers, Apollo Group, the team at Borras Group had confidence in their decision to move to EVision.
Paul Mooney, Group Accounts Manager, comments “We were very impressed with the reference feedback from existing EVision users – George and Harding, Apollo Group and Morris and Spottiswood. EVision was presented as a fully integrated commercial and financial system and we were shown how we would be able to automate many of our current processes, saving us time and effort re-keying information for reporting purposes. Key areas such as integrated CVR and subcontractor valuation processing were excellent examples of this.”
Mr Mooney goes on to say, “The EVision solution is based on Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV and the familiar look and feel will no doubt be a bonus both in terms of training staff quickly and also gaining their commitment to move forward with the new software.”
Borras Group is taking EVision’s core modules, including Contract Management; Subcontractor Management; Contract Sales; CVR; and Payroll. In addition, they have opted Jet Reports which integrates with EVision to offer pre-built reports.
