Encouraging the cost analysis of projects and tenders submitted into a central format will standardize the information and share knowledge within an organization. This standardized approach will allow the development of a benchmarking process to check a project’s developing costs between stages or milestones as required.

Each analysis begins with a series of key project information detailing; Client, consultants, building sector and work type etc; Once created each project is assigned a series of attributes to enable consistent analysis: total values, cost date, index, site area and building girth. Analysis information is entered for each appropriate Trade package and element; product specification details; total package cost and date. Further detailed analysis information may be gathered as bespoke unit quantity cost information for each project.
