As Chief Estimator, I’m responsible for winning new work. The Sage Estimating software helps me produce accurate and consistent estimates and tenders, quickly and easily.
Improving efficiency and effectiveness – Sage Estimating streamlines our estimating and bill production, reducing errors and omissions. Project cost benchmarking and the ability to describe, quantify and price projects ensures consistently accurate bids.
Easy file conversions from and to our clients - conversion and loading of our clients’ Excel or industry standard CITE input files is quick and easy because I can set conditional formatting rules. What’s more, I can automatically write even the most complex bills back to our clients’ source documents. With only basic manipulation of Excel needed, this dramatically reduces human error and gives us more time to pull together the bills of quantities, providing a better service for our clients.
Visibility – The ability to track all cost items and view bill extracts gives me instant project visibility like I’ve never had before, allowing me to optimise pricing more effectively.
Properly manage the tender process – with tender comparison and multi-user functionality, collaboration on each bid gives rapid yet accurate turnaround times.
