Businesses operating in the construction industry as contractors and subcontractors must comply with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) for the deduction and reporting of PAYE tax. 

As you will be aware, the UK CIS scheme is due for major reform in April 2007 and your financial systems must be capable of supporting the changes from that time.

Sage ERP EVision Customers

An update will shortly be available to introduce the new CIS functionality into Sage ERP EVision Versions, including online submission of monthly returns and online subcontractor verifications.

Sage ERP Intuita Customers

Sage ERP Intuita will fully support the CIS reforms and work is already underway to provide this as a component of Version 3.08. Version 3.08 will be available to our customers in November 2006 and will support both current and reformed CIS schemes.
