Housebuilder Innovation Awards LogoTwo Sage Construction Sage Housebuilding powered by SiteStream customers were top of the tree for customer care and satisfaction in the recent HBF Housebuilding Innovation Awards 2008.

Pennyfarthing Homes won the NHBC sponsored Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative and wowed the judges with their aim to provide each customer with a defect free home. The adoption of a Customer Ready Certificate (CRC) produced by the site manager for each home, together with a detailed customer handover procedure, ensured that all snags were dealt with prior to customer handover. Post CRC snags are down by over 90% reducing remedial call outs and resulting in a happier customer experience. Managing Director Mark Adams and his team at Pennyfarthing Homes celebrated the win in style at the awards ceremony held at the Millennium Mayfair Hotel in London.

In the same category Galliford Try were Highly Commended and impressed the judges with the commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction schemes across its new home portfolio – Linden Homes, Midas Homes, Stamford Homes and Gerald Wood Homes. An internal incentive scheme also rewards staff members with prizes if a customer praises their work. Managing Director of the South East Housebuilding Division, Paul Cooper was accompanied at the event by colleagues from across the Galliford Try Group.

We congratulate the teams at both Pennyfarthing Homes and Galliford Try on this great achievement and their ability to successfully service their customers during these challenging times for housebuilding.
